Ronnie Attard, former MFA Technical Director and National Teams Manager for several years, passed peacefully away at the age of 70 years.

Attard worked close with former national coaches Horst Heese, Pippo Psaila, Pietro Ghedin, Robert Gatt, Milorad Kosanovic and Josef Ilic. He also worked close with Fr. Hilary Tagliaferro in setting up the youth sector and nurseries apart from the Ċentru Sport Edukattiv.

He was a former player and coach of Hibernians, Hamrun Spartans and Zejtun Corinthians.

Mass ‘praesante cadavere’ will be said on Saturday, 22nd December at the Attard Parish Church at 2.00pm.

Lord, grant him eternal rest.
