Sirens, Mdina Knights, Marsaskala and Marsa are joint-leaders in the BOV Third Division after Marsaskala were held in a 1-1 draw by Santa Lucia and the other three teams registered wins on Sunday.

Sirens beat Swieqi United 2-0, Mdina defeated Luqa St. Andrew’s 3-0 while Marsa found no difficulty in beating Ghaxaq 6-1. Xghajra Tornados and Senglea Athletic shared the spoils in a goalless draw.

In other matches, Attard beat Ta’ Xbiex 3-1 while Mtarfa defeated Qrendi 3-2.

Sirens, Mdina, Marsaskala and Marsa lead the way with 30 points, followed by Senglea on 28, Xghajra 25, Attard 20, Mtarfa 15, Swieqi 14, Kalkara and Ghaxaq 13, Santa Lucia 11, Qrendi 9, Ta’ Xbiex 6 and Luqa 5.
