Msida St. Joseph joined San Gwann in second place in the BOV Second Division despite being held in a 1-1 draw by Zurrieq at the Luxol Stadium on Friday.

The Saints however missed the opportunity to close in on leaders Zebbug.

Zebbug lead the way with 28 points, followed by San Gwann and Msida on 23, St. George’s and Zurrieq 21, St. Patrick and Fgura 20, Siggiewi 18, Pembroke 17, Kirkop and Mellieha 16, St. Venera 10, Gharghur 8 and Mgarr 6.
