BOV Division 3: Sirens, Marsa lose points

The Board of Control and Discipline of the Malta Football Association found both Sirens FC and Marsa FC guilty after the BOV Third Division League match between the two clubs which was played on January 27, 2013 but which was abandoned on the 37th minute by the referee when the score was 1-1.

The board decided that the two teams should be considered to have lost the game 0-3 and therefore the points from the game are lost.

Mdina therefore stay on top with 36 points, followed by Senglea and Marsaskala on 35, Marsa and Xghajra 32, Sirens 31, Attard 25, Mtarfa 21, Ghaxaq 17, Snta Lucia 16, Kalkara and Swieqi 14, Qrendi 9, Ta’ Xbiex and Luqa 7.
