Four Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following Wednesday’s matches from the BOV Premier League.

Ryan Scicluna (Birkirkara), Sacha Borg and Gary Roberts (Floriana) and Massimo Grima (Hamrun) are therefore ruled out of the first game from the Championship Pool or Relegation Pool.

Meanwhile Pietà Hotspurs coach Edmond Lufi was banned for two matches.
