Pembroke Athleta climbed fifth on level points with Msida St. Joseph in the BOV Second Division as they beat wooden-spoonists St. Venera Lightnings 4-0.

The Lightnings remain anchored at the bottom of the table on ten points together with Mgarr.

Zebbug lead the way with 40 points, followed by San Gwann and St. George’s on 31, Zurrieq 28, Pembroke and Msida 27, Fgura 25, Siggiewi 24, St. Patrick 23, Mellieha 22, Kirkop 16, Gharghur 11, Mgarr and St. Venera 10.
