Floriana and Balzan will be hoping to collect the three points on Sunday as the two teams cross swords in one of the two BOV Premier League matches in programme at the Hibernians Stadium.

Both sides registered wins in their first outing in the Relegation Pool as the Greens defeated Melita 2-1 and Balzan beat Hamrun Spartans 3-1. Two points separate the two teams as Balzan lie on the 17-point mark together with Qormi, two ahead of Floriana.

Jonathan Francica, Yessous Camilleri and Renato Conceicao return for Balzan after missing the Hamrun clash. On the other hand, Floriana welcome back Sacha Borg and Gary Roberts but Owen Bugeja is ruled out as he serves a one-match ban.

In the first phase, Floriana registered two 3-1 wins over Balzan.

Meanwhile in a match from the Championship Pool, Mosta and Tarxien Rainbows seek their first points after losing to Valletta and Hibernians respectively.

The 0-5 defeat to Valletta was the fifth defeat for Mosta in six matches. Tarxien, on the other hand, are eager to claim the three points as this would put them just one point behind Sliema.

Andrezinho is ruled out for Tarxien through suspension.

Tarxien defeated Mosta 2-0 and 3-1 in the first two rounds.
