Pietà Hotspurs take temporary leadership in the BOV First Division as a goal by Raphael Alain Kooh Sohna six minutes from time gave them a narrow win over Gudja United.

Lija Athletic, on the other hand, defeated Gzira United 2-1.

Erjon Beu put Lija ahead on 25 minutes but four minutes from time, Yanis Tonna levelled matters. Late in the game, Antoine Sacco notched the winner for Lija.
