Leaders Senglea Athletic maintained a two-point lead in the BOV Third Division thanks to a 2-1 win over wooden-spoonists Luqa St. Andrews.

Mdina and Marsaskala, who both have a game in hand, had mixed fortunes. Mdina defeated Sirens 1-0 while Marsaskala were held in a 1-1 draw by Mtarfa.

Marsa beat Kalkara 2-1 while Xghajra Tornados defeated Swieqi United 3-0.

Attard beat Ghaxaq 2-0 while Qrendi registered a narrow 1-0 win over Ta’ Xbiex.

Senglea lead the way with 50 points, followed by Mdina on 48, Marsaskala 45, Marsa 44, Sirens 40, Xghajra 38, Attard 31, Mtarfa 28, Santa Lucia 25, Kalkara and Ghaxaq 21, Swieqi 17, Qrendi 12, Ta’ Xbiex and Luqa 7.
