The Malta Girls’ Under-16 national team defeated Israel 1-0 in a UEFA Under-16 mini-tournament at the Chalkida Municipal Stadium in Chalkida, Greece on Tuesday.

Emily Pace scored the all-important goal on the 8th minute.

Malta faces hosts Greece on Wednesday and Azerbaijan on Thursday.
