Mdina Knights return on top the BOV Third Division as they defeated Marsaskala 3-1 on Wednesday. A win which puts the Knights one point ahead of Senglea and six ahead of Marsaskala.

Marsa moved third thanks to a most comfortable 7-0 win over Luqa St. Andrew’s.

The other two matches ended in draws as Santa Lucia and Kalkara shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw while Mtarfa vs Ghaxaq ended 0-0.

Mdina lead the way with 51 points, followed by Senglea on 50, Marsa 47, Marsaskala 45, Sirens 40, Xghajra 38, Attard 31, Mtarfa 29, Santa Lucia 26, Kalkara and Ghaxaq 22, Swieqi 17, Qrendi 12, Ta’ Xbiex and Luqa 7.
