Birkirkara F.C. player Gabriella Zahra, a member of the Women’s National Football Team since the age of 15, topped the chart as a result of her impressive displays during her 13 games played during this season.

Having played in several different roles this season, mostly as an attacker, she netted ten goals in thirteen matches, and this versatile player is the one with the most appearances for the squad this season.

Registering three wins out of three matches in February, the Stripes were back on track as they defeated Gozo, Tarxien and Mgarr United respectively. Gabriella, who featured in all three matches, was utilised in her more familiar role of a midfielder. Ms Zahra did an excellent job and this reward is a deserved one.

Bernard Azzopardi, Manager Birkirkara branch, presented the trophy to Ms Zahra who chose Puttinu Cares Foundation as the beneficiary of this award.
