Msida St. Joseph moved back in second place thanks to a 1-0 win over Fgura United in one of two matches in programme from the BOV Second Division at the Charles Abela Stadium on Saturday.

In another match, Gharghur collected three precious points in the battle against relegation as they beat Mellieha 2-1.

Zebbug lead the way with 50 points, followed by Msida on 40, Zurrieq 38, St. George’s 37, San Gwann 35, Fgura 32, Pembroke 31, Mellieha and Siggiewi 28, Kirkop and St. Patrick 23, Gharghur 18, Mgarr 17 and St Venera 10.
