Easter Tournament: Malta loses to Greece

u17-malta-greece130330daMalta lost 0-3 to Greece at the Centenary Stadium in another match from the Easter Tournament hosted by the Malta Football Association.

After a goalless first half, Greece managed to take the lead thanks to Georgios Karakoutis on the 49th minute. The same player doubled the score on 66 minutes and Anastasios Dimitriadis sealed the issue with a third goal six minutes from time.

Malta plays its third and final match on Monday against Cyprus who claimed maximum points from the two matches played so far. In fact, on Saturday, Cyprus defeated Northern Ireland 1-0 at the MFA Training Grounds thanks to a goal by Christos Wheeler.
