The Malta FA announces more referees’ exchanges following an agreement reached between its Refereeing Department and that of Andorra.

Elite Referee Fyodor Zammit assisted by Elite Assistant Referees Luke Portelli and Emanuel Grech will be travelling to Andorra to control the Championship Play-Off League match – FC Santa Coloma vs UE Santa Julia, being played on Sunday 14th April at Estadi Aixovall.

Refereeing Officer Silvio Tanti will be accompanying the trio in the first of two referees’ exchanges with Andorra this season. Salusta Chato has been appointed as referee observer for the Maltese match officials.

Fyodor Zammit, Luke Portelli and Emanuel Grech have attended the UEFA Centre of Refereeing Excellence (CORE) Introductory Course last October and are currently preparing for their Consolidation Course next month.

Match officials from Andorra will be in Malta in the following weekend. FIFA Referee Ignasi Villamayor, assisted by Assistant Referees Manuel Nogueira and Volodymyr Litosh, have been appointed for the BOV Premier League match, Valletta vs Tarxien Rainbows, being played on Sunday 21st Aprilat the National Stadium. Silvio Tanti will be their referee observer.

A second referees’ exchange with Andorra has been planned for May.
