Leaders Senglea Athletic keep marching on in the BOV Third Division as they defeated Mtarfa 5-0, including another four goals by top scorer Timmy Thomas.

Mdina Knights, Marsaskala and Marsa also kept the pace with the leaders as they registered wins. Mdina defeated Ta’ Xbiex 1-0, Marsaskala beat Swieqi 1-0 while Marsa defeated Attard 3-0.

Thanks to these results, Senglea Athletic and Mdina Knights make sure of playing in Division 2 next season.

Kalkara and Luqa St. Andrew’s shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw while Ghaxaq defeated Sirens 1-0. Xghajra beat Santa Lucia 5-0 in another match.

Senglea lead the way with 62 points, followed by Mdina on 60, Marsaskala 54, Marsa 53, Xghajra 51, Sirens 41, Mtarfa 35, Attard 33, Kalkara and Santa Lucia 29, Swieqi and Ghaxaq 25, Luqa 15, Qrendi 13 and Ta’ Xbiex 7.
