The final round of matches of this season’s BOV Premier League will see foreign referees from Andorra, Holland and Republic of Ireland officiating in Malta as part of referees’ exchanges initiated by the Malta FA Referees’ Department last season.

Rui Machel, assisted by Hugo Jourdan and Robert Gonzalez will be the match officials from Andorra for the Balzan vs Rabat Ajax match at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Thursday, while Paul McLaughlin, assisted by Emmet Dynan and Robert Clarke will be in charge of the Hamrun Spartans vs Melita match on Saturday at the National Satdium.

The two BOV Premier league matches on Friday at the Hibernians Stadium in Corradino will see Dutch Referee Ed Janssen act as the referee of the Floriana vs Qormi match, while Denis McArdle from the Republic of Ireland will act as referee observer of the Maltese refereeing team appointed for the Sliema Wanderers vs Mosta match.

Both matches will be filmed by Malta FA Cameraman Mario Pisani to be used for educational purposes in a referees’ technical meeting on Saturday morning, during which both Janssen and McArdle will make the match analysis of both matches.
