Birkirkara all out to claim victory

BOV-Premier-LeagueJoint-leaders Birkirkara will be all out for the three points as they take on Tarxien Rainbows in one of the two BOV Premier League matches in programme at the National Stadium on Saturday.

The Stripes share the top spot with Hibernians and a win over Tarxien will ensure they end the season on top. Hibernians will face Valletta on Sunday in the final league match.

Birkirkara have gone eight matches without defeats and are coming from a 1-0 win over Valletta in their last outing.

Tarxien finished the season in fifth place after losing to Valletta and Sliema in their last two games. For this game, they will be without the suspended Andrew Agius.

Birkirkara defeated Tarxien 4-1, 5-0 and 1-0 in the previous rounds.
