Paola Hibs Nursery hosted the 2013 Paola Hibs International Tournament between the 4th and 5th May at the Hibernians Stadium.

Taking part in the tournament were Melita, Pietà Hotspurs, Meta Sport Ragusa, Sportland 2000 and hosts Paola Hibs.

It was a successful tournament played at the Hibs Stadium. The tournament, sanctioned by the Grassroots Committee within the MFA Technical Centre, whereby all teams played against each other turned out to be a successful tournament.

Another festival – this time reserved for the Under-6, Under-7, Under-8 and Under-9 categories, was organised in April in aid of the Alive Charity Foundation.

Hamrun Spartans, Melita, Pietà Hotspurs and Paola Hibs participated in the tournament, raising €620 in funds which were donated to Stephen Attard, one of the co-ordinators of the foundation.

Meanwhile the Paola Hibs Under-11 and Under-13 squads participated in the Puttinu Cares Football Marathon which was held last week. The players, their parents and coaching staff managed to collect €477 which were donated to the organisers.
