Birkirkara’s Edward Herrera was voted as the Best Player 2012/13 by the Malta Football Players Association. He placed first ahead of two other Birkirkara players, Paul Fenech and Gareth Sciberras.

Voting for this award were players who are members of the MFPA.

Jonathan Caruana of Valletta won the first edition of this award last year.
