Late goals sink Under-21 side in Poland

UEFA Under-21Poland scored twice in the final five minutes to beat Malta 2-0 in the first match from Group 7 of the UEFA Under-21 Championship 2013-15 at the Marszałek Piłsudski Stadium in Krakow on Thursday.

The Maltese did an excellent job in controlling their opponents for eighty five minutes until Arkadiusz Milik managed to break the deadlock putting Poland ahead. On the 90th, substitute Michal Chrapek doubled the score to kill Malta’s hopes of starting the campaign on a positive note.

In the next games, Malta will be playing Turkey and Greece in two games away from home on September 5 and 10 respectively.
