Coleiro, Anonam appointed Pietà Hotspurs coach, assistant coach

pieta-hotspursNoel Coleiro was appointed as coach of Pietà Hotspurs and will be assisted by Orosco Anonam as assistant coach while continuing his career as a player.

Coleiro led Tarxien Rainbows between summer 2007 and October 2011, helping them to promotion to the BOV Premier League and establish themselves in the top division.

Nigerian-born Orosco Anonam moved to Malta in 1998 to join Naxxar Lions where he spent two years before moving to Sliema Wanderers. He spent eight years with the Blue, apart from short spells with Vasas SC in Hungary and APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus. He signed for Floriana in 2008 and two years later, he moved to Tarxien.

Meanwhile during the Annual General Meeting which was held last week, a new committee for season 2013/2014 was formed.

President Joe Sammut and secretary Mario Mallia were confirmed in their posts.

The other members of the committee are Vice Presidents Anthony Theuma and Mario Borg, Assistant Secretary Alfred Zahra, Treasurer Damien Saliba, Assistant Treasurer Leslie Borg, Club Director Charles Duca, PROs Mark Tanti and Alan Gatt and members Anthony Borg, Anthony Cassar, Norbert Ellul, Raymond Mifsud, Emily Mifsud and Mario Caruana.
