The Mario Muscat Goalkeepers School is celebrating ten years since the school was founded and plans for 2013 to be a memorable year.

The school, which has been established since 2003, offers the opportunity to anyone aged from seven onwards to specialize in the goalkeeper techniques under the experience of Mario Muscat and his skilled coaching staff.

The Mario Muscat Goalkeepers School will be introducing GOLD achievement (for goalkeepers that have been attending for 10 years), SILVER achievement (for goalkeepers attending 7 years and over), and BRONZE achievement (for goalkeepers attending 4 years and over). All these goalkeepers will be given a memorable gift in appreciation for their loyalty to the school. A commemorative gift will be given to all goalkeepers.

Training will start in September 2013 with the following schedule:
Tuesday 24th September 16:15 – 17:30 Tarxien Football Ground
Wednesday 25th September 16:15 – 17:30 San Gwann Football Ground
Thursday 26th September 16:15 – 17:30 San Gwann Football Ground Friday 27th September 16:15 – 17:30 San Gwann Football Ground

Goalkeepers may choose the date they prefer on a first-come first-served basis.

The fee is €220 which includes all training sessions, lectures, full kit (with name printed on the back), drinks, fruit, group photo, evaluation certificate and two penalty shoot-outs.

Events for the coming season include physical/technical test and a reception to mark the tenth anniversary in October, camping in November, Christmas Penalty Shoot-Out/Fund raising for l-Istrina in December, nutrition lecture in January, Gozo Goalkeeper Camp in February, blood donation in March, sand training in April, Puttinu fund raising and Givova Goalkeeper Battle in May, the end-of-season penalty shoot-out in June, international camp in Italy in July apart from summer training which is held in July and August.
