Two players from the BOV Premier League were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Denni Rocha dos Santos who was sent off in Valletta’s 2-3 defeat to Hibernians was banned for two matches while Thiago Lopes de Souza of Naxxar Lions was banned for one match for not having a valid medical certificate.

Denni will miss the games against Floriana and Qormi while Thiago Lopes is ruled out of the weekend’s clash against Sliema.
