Valletta, Zebbug Rangers and Msida St. Joseph started their commitments in the FXDD Futsal First Division with a win therefore gaining the first three points at stake.

Valletta demolished Marsaskala 5-1 with Renald Formston and Mark Mizzi scoring a brace and another goal scored by Clayton Felice. Charlton Camilleri reduced the gap for Marsaskala.

Zebbug Rangers came from a goal behind to defeat Sirens 3-1. Jamie Portelli, Bernard Bonnici and Ricky Zammit scored the goals for the Rangers.

In the other matches Mqabba and Santa Lucia shared ten goals in an entertaining 5-5 draw to gain a point each while Msida won against Siggiewi 3-1.

Meanwhile the FXDD Super Cup final is scheduled for Friday 27 th September 2013 at 20.00 hrs.

Hibernians, the defending champions, who have just participated successfully in the UEFA Futsal Cup, will play against Knock Out winners Balzan in a match that promises to be full of excitement and entertainment.

The match will be played at the Corradino Sports Pavillion.
