Roland Sollars has been appointed as the new coach of Second Division side Dingli Swallows. He will be assisted by former St. Venera Lightnings coach Marco Buttigieg and Jascon Cachia as team manager.

After being relegated from Division 1, Dingli are yet to collect their first points in the BOV Second Division after playing three matches.

Roland Sollars started his coaching career with Melita as coach of the Under-18 side. He then led Sirens and in season 2003/04, he was assistant coach at Marsaxlokk in the Premier League. He then coached Hibernians women’s team and three Third Division sides Pembroke Athleta, Sirens and Swieqi United.
