Three Premier League players suspended

20110417-114224.jpgThree Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Jean Paul Farrugia (Hibernians), Ryan Grech (Mosta) and Clive Spiteri (Vittoriosa) are therefore ruled out of this weekend’s games.

Farrugia and Grech will miss the game between Mosta and Hibernians while Spiteri will miss the clash with Tarxien.

In Division 1, Dylan Xuereb of Zejtun was handed a two-match ban.

Abeeb Abiodun Williams (Fgura) and Albert Busuttil (Kirkop) were both suspended for two matches while Jean Pierre Debono (Gharghur) was suspended for one game.

Dingli team manager Jason Cachia was banned for one match while Ghaxaq official Guido Agius was banned for two matches.

In Division 3, Clint Vella (Sirens) was banned for two matches while Simon Borg (Swieqi), Clayton Micallef and Antoine Barbara (Xghajra) were handed a one-match ban.
