For the second consecutive season, Maltese referees shall be officiating in the Welsh Premier League this coming weekend as part of an exchange with the Football Association of Wales, involving four match officials.

FIFA Referee Alan Mario Sant shall be the referee of Bangor City v Airbus UK Broughton at The Book People Stadium in Bangor on Friday.

On Saturday, Glen Tonna shall be the referee of the game GAP Connahs’ Quay vs Rhyl, at Deeside Stadium in Connah’s Quay. A local derby with Rhyl being promoted back to the Welsh Premier League this season.

FIFA Assistant Referees Alan Camilleri and Christopher Francalanza have been appointed for both matches during which Alan Mario Sant and Glen Tonna will alternate roles as referee and 4th official.

Last month Welsh referees officiated the BOV Premier League matches, Rabat Ajax vs Floriana and Birkirkara vs Hibernians at the National Stadium in Ta’ Qali.
