Zejtun Corinthians Nursery participates successfully in a Leonardo Da Vinci project

zejtun-nurseryCoaching staff and the administrative counterpart within Zejtun Corinthians Football Nursery have just returned from a week encounter with various Scottish Premier clubs through a Leonardo mobility project funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Commission.

The project’s main aim was the keeping up of the Nursery with the trends of grassroots football and its management. The intentions were to support key personnel, and strengthen their knowledge for better quality and achieving higher standards in the methods used.

This was successfully done with the support of Cumbernauld College which guided the group in different encounters with prominent clubs namely Celtic FC, Kilmarnock FC and Partick Thistle FC. The group had the opportunity to observe various training sessions with different age sectors, followed by evaluation processing and discussions with the coaching staff of each host team.

Both the technical and administration part will now be enhancing this learning experience via different channels to step up the results of yet another positive project for Zejtun Corinthians Football Nursery.
