BOV Second Division leaders Pembroke Athleta moved four points clear thanks to a 5-1 win over Kirkop United at the Luxol Stadium.

Adrian Galea put Pembroke ahead after just ten minutes and Aleksandar Ribic doubled the score on the 33rd. Matthew Caruana pulled one back for Kirkop three minutes from the end of the first half but after the break, Pembroke added another three goals thanks to a brace by Nicholas Zammit on 57 and 62 minutes and another goal by Ribic on the 65th.

Pembroke lead the way with 18 points, followed by San Gwann and Zabbar on 14, Fgura and Mqabba 13, Mellieha 11, Gharghur and Senglea 9, Mdina and Kirkop 8, Marsa 6, Siggiewi 5, Marsaskala 4 and Dingli 1.
