Kenneth Ekezie notched a hat-trick as Swieqi United defeated Luqa St. Andrew’s 3-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Friday. A win which puts Swieqi in second place, one point behind Sirens, who however have a game in hand.

Ekezie opened the score on 25 minutes and doubled the score on 69 minutes, adding a third goal five minutes later.

Sirens lead the way with 19 points, followed by Swieqi on 18, Santa Lucia 16, Luqa 15, Sta. Venera and Attard 13, Ghaxaq 12, Mgarr 10, Xghajra 9, Mtarfa 7, Qrendi 4, Kalkara and Ta’ Xbiex 1 and Marsaxlokk -3.
