Dingli Swallows earned an important point thanks to an impressive comeback in a 3-3 draw with Mqabba in a match from the BOV Second Division on Friday.

Mqabba extended their positive run but by dropping these two points, they missed the chance to move second.

Alistair Camilleri and Andre Cassar scored twice in the final six minutes of the first half to put Mqabba two goals ahead and Camilleri scored again on 64 minutes to make it 3-0. However Dingli had other ideas and two goals by Mark Vassallo on 76 and 79 minutes re-opened the match with Daniel Cilia scoring on the 90th to hand Dingli a point.

Pembroke lead the way with 21 points, followed by Fgura on 19, Zabbar and Mqabba 18, San Gwann 16, Mellieha 15, Senglea 13, Gharghur 12, Marsa 9, Mdina and Kirkop 8, Siggiewi 5, Dingli 5 and Marsaskala 4.
