Mdina Knights failed to climb out of the danger zone after losing 1-4 to Marsa in the only match from the BOV Second Division on Friday.

Mdina, for whom this was the fifth consecutive defeat, remain fourth from bottom on eight points. Marsa, on the other hand, are still eighth.

Pembroke lead the way with 27 points, followed by Fgura on 23, Mqabba 21, Zabbar 20, Mellieha 18, San Gwann and Senglea 17, Gharghur 16, Marsa 14, Kirkop 9, Mdina 8, Marsaskala 7, Siggiewi 6 and Dingli 5.
