Leaders Sirens extended their unbeaten run in the BOV Third Division with a 4-1 win over Attard in one of the six matches in programme on Sunday.

Santa Lucia moved back in third place thanks to a 4-1 win over Luqa St. Andrew’s, leaving the latter in fifth place.

Xghajra Tornados dropped two important points in a goalless draw with Mtarfa while Mgarr United beat Kalkara 5-2.

Qrendi registered a comfortable 6-1 win over Marsaxlokk – the third win in four matches for Qrendi. Ta’ Xbiex, on the other hand, beat Sta. Venera Lightnings 1-0. For the Lightnings, this was the fifth consecutive defeat.

Sirens lead the way with 32 points, followed by Swieqi on 28, Santa Lucia 24, Ghaxaq 22, Luqa 21, Xghajra 20, Mgarr 18, Attard 17, Sta. Venera and Qrendi 13, Mtarfa 12, Ta’ Xbiex 8, Kalkara 3 and Marsaxlokk minus 2.
