The St Andrew’s International Football Tournament 2013 went into its second day today in typical winter weather. The heavy rains of the afternoon did not stop the players from showing their brave heart to perform a 5 star scenario of spectacle goals.

After Thursday’s programme, Valletta are topping the 1998 Category table with maximum points from 2 matches, whilst St Andrew’s also registered their second win and are heading group A of the 2000 Category. Hamrun Spartans, holders of last year’s Tournament and B’Kara are joint leaders in group B of the same Category.

On Friday, they face each other in a top of the table clash at 15:00Hrs.

Chievo Santa Sofia will now be arriving on Saturday as they were caught in Sicily due to the heavy storms which kept the Catamaran from crossing over.
