Discussions between the two clubs have been going on for a number of weeks with the Stripes, at first, reportedly also being interested in their former player Jorge Santos Silva who joined Tarxien in summer.

Ronaille joined the Rainbows this summer and was one of their key players in this early part of the season, scoring ten out of the twenty-five goals scored by Tarxien. Throughout his career, he played in Colombia, Peru and China, apart from Brazil. He is now set to make his debut for the Stripes in Sunday’s big match against Valletta.

Demba Toure, on the other hand, joined Birkirkara in summer after being released by Valletta. He only scored one goal but started only a handful of games.
