Fgura United moved to just two points behind leaders Pembroke Athleta as the latter suffered the third defeat in five matches in the BOV Second Division.

In fact, at the Charles Abela Stadium, Senglea Athletic defeated Pembroke Athleta 3-1 while at the Luxol Stadium, Fgura United beat Marsa 2-0.

On the other hand, Dingli United defeated Gharghur 2-1 at the Sirens Stadium to register the third win in five matches.

The other three matches – Marsaskala vs Siggiewi, Mellieha vs Mqabba and Zabbar St. Patrick vs Kirkop United – were called off due to the bad weather conditions.

Pembroke lead the way with 33 points, followed by Fgura on 31, San Gwann 29, Mqabba 28, Mellieha 24, Gharghur 23, Zabbar 22, Senglea 21, Marsa 19, Dingli and Marsaskala 15, Kirkop 12, Siggiewi 10 and Mdina 9.
