Ray Farrugia names Under-21 squad for Wednesday's UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier

ray-zazu-farrugiaMalta Under-21 coach Ray Farrugia named the final squad for the UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier against Sweden in programme on Wednesday at the National Stadium.

With Zach Muscat ruled out through suspension and promoted to the senior squad together with Bjorn Kristensen and Valletta’s Yenz Cini and Luke Montebello not considered for selection after the Citizens’ decision not to allow their players to attend training sessions with the national team on Thursday and Friday, Farrugia named four new faces – Rabat Ajax duo Shaun Gauci and Ryan Micallef, Cain Attard of Pietà Hotspurs and Keith Tanti of St. George’s.

The squad is therefore made up of:
