Hibernians and Birkirkara registered identical wins on Tuesday in two matches from the BOV Women’s First Division. Leaders Hibernians defeated Kirkop United 4-0 while Birkirkara beat Pembroke Athleta 4-0.

In another match, Gozo defeated Raiders (Luxol) 6-1.

Hibernians therefore stay three points ahead of Birkirkara while Gozo join Mgarr United in third place but the latter have a game in hand.

In the BOV Women’s Second Division, Hamrun Spartans held leaders Tarxien Rainbows in a 2-2 draw while Fgura United moved second thanks to an 8-0 win over Vittoriosa Stars.
