Fgura United regained a three-point lead at the top of the BOV Second Division thanks to a 1-0 win over San Gwann on Saturday.

Mqabba maintained the challenge for promotion with a 4-0 win over Marsa while Zabbar St. Patrick defeated neighbours Marsaskala 2-1 in the derby. Mellieha dropped two important points in a goalless draw with Kirkop United.

Senglea Athletic beat Siggiewi 5-2 while Dingli Swallows returned to winning ways as they beat Mdina Knights 4-0.

Fgura lead the way with 43 points, followed by Pembroke on 40, Mqabba 39, Zabbar 35, San Gwann 34, Mellieha 32, Gharghur 27, Senglea 25, Marsa 22, Marsaskala 20, Dingli 18, Kirkop 17, Siggiewi 16 and Mdina 9.
