One point separates the two teams with Qormi currently fourth in the Relegation Pool on 14 and Vittoriosa fifth on 13.

The Stars will be without the suspended Oscar Guerrero. Owen Bugeja is ruled out injured for Qormi.

Vittoriosa defeated Qormi twice 1-0 and 2-1 in the first phase.

Rabat A. vs Tarxien R., kick-off 16:15 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
Tarxien target a third consecutive Relegation Pool win as they take on a Rabat Ajax side coming from a disappointing run of seventeen matches without a win. The Rainbows defeated Naxxar and Floriana in their last two outings while Rabat were beaten by Qormi and Vittoriosa.

Rabat could not count on the suspended Patrick Borg and the injured Dani Pelaez, David Azzopardi and Adam Smeir. Luca Martinelli is ruled out injured for the Rainbows but Steve Bonnici and Jorge Santos Silva will be back after serving a one-match ban.

The Magpies defeated Tarxien 1-0 while the second round clash ended in a 6-2 win for the Rainbows.

Mosta vs Sliema W., kick-off 14:00 at Hibernians Stadium
After losing 1-3 to Birkirkara, Sliema Wanderers will be all out to claim the three points in order to move third in the BOV Premier League table. However Mosta, buoyed by their 2-2 draw with Valletta on Tuesday, are keen to maintain their challenge for a place in Europe with a win over the Wanderers which would put them on level points with their opponents.

Cliford Gatt Baldacchino and Abubakar Bello-Osagie are both ruled out for the Wanderers while Mosta will lack once again Dyson Falzon.

Mosta defeated Sliema 3-2 in the first round with the second round clash ending in a 1-1 draw.

Balzan vs Valletta, kick-off 16:00 at Hibernians Stadium
After dropping two points in a draw with Mosta, only a win will satisfy the Citizens who now lie five points behind leaders Birkirkara. Balzan are yet to collect any points from the Championship Pool and are coming from four consecutive defeats.

The Citizens will be without Ryan Fenech and Shaun Bajada as they serve a one-match ban. Justin Grioli is ruled out for Balzan for the same reason.

The first round clash between Valletta and Balzan ended in a 1-1 draw with the Citizens registering a narrow 1-0 win in the second.
