Sliema Wanderers midfielder John Mintoff is ruled out of the final of the U*BET FA Trophy as he was one of two players who were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after Wednesday’s semi-finals.

Mintoff collected four yellow cards and is therefore suspended for one match.

The other player to be suspended is Moises Avila Perez of Gzira United who was banned for two matches after being sent off inthe game against Valletta.

Since Gzira were eliminated, he will serve this ban in league matches.
