The final of the U*BET FA Trophy between Valletta and Sliema Wanderers will be played on Wednesday 30th April at 19:00 after the Police Commissioner asked the MFA not to hold the final on May 4th as scheduled.

The Police Commissioner informed the association that since the feast of St. Publius of Floriana will be held during the same weekend and festivities start the previous Thursday, there would be traffic management issues and therefore asked the MFA not to hold the final in the period between May 1st and May 4th.

For this reason, the final will be held on Wednesday 30th April – the eve of a public holiday.

Valletta will be playing their last BOV Premier League match on Saturday 26th.
