Pembroke Athleta and Mqabba moved to just two points behind leaders Fgura United as the latter were held in a 1-1 draw by Dingli Swallows in the BOV Second Division.

Pembroke defeated Mdina Knights 1-0 while Mqabba beat Kirkop United 2-0. San Gwann, on the other hand, suffered a 4-3 defeat to Marsa.

In the battle against relegation, Siggiewi collected another three precious points in a 3-2 win over Gharghur to move tenth. Marsaskala, on the other hand, held Mellieha in a 1-1 draw.

Fgura lead the way with 48 points, followed by Pembroke and Mqabba on 46, San Gwann 43, Zabbar 40, Mellieha 37, Gharghur 33, Senglea 32, Marsa 28, Siggiewi 25, Marsaskala 24, Dingli 23, Kirkop 20 and Mdina 10.
