Vittoriosa Stars striker Oscar Dario Guerrero Alvarado is the BOV Player of the Month for February 2014.

The Colombian forward who moved to Maltese football this summer is an important pawn in Vittoriosa coach Oliver Spiteri’s arsenal in their bid to retain their Premier League status.

Vittoriosa secured five points during the month of March through a 3-1 victory over Rabat, where Guerrero slotted his first of four goals during the month. Two goals in Vittoriosa’s 3-3 draw against Naxxar and putting Vittoriosa in the lead in their 1-1 draw against Tarxien made sure that Oscar received the individual honour for the month.

Joseph Chetcuti, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Cospicua Branch, presented the BOV Player of the Month Trophy for March 2014 to Guerrero.
