Maltese coaches visit Coverciano

mfca-coachesA group of nineteen coaches members of the Malta Football Coaches Association has returned to Malta from Coverciano, Firenze, where they have attended a one-week intensive course on all football coaching aspects.

This course consisted of a number of theoretical and practical lectures covering technical, tactical, physical testing, diet and psychological aspects in football management.

The Maltese coaches were given all assistance and cooperation by the President of the Italian Coaches Association (A.I.A.C.) and director at Coverciano, Mr. Renzo Ulivieri, who was assisted by other lecturers, experts in their field of coaching, and who form part of the staff at Coverciano. A great helping hand was also given by the secretary of A.I.A.C. Mr. Giuliano Ragonesi.

The participants were satisfied with the knowledge they received and they have also been informed about how the Italians are programming and what they think about how the future game of football will evolve.
