Malta FA Referees’ Instructor Alexander Arena will be in Andorra as referee observer of refereeing teams in two Top Division matches on Sunday for the matches UE Sant Julia vs FC Santa Coloma and FC Ordino vs Inter Club Escaldes.

At the Stadium Alàs, referee Ignasi Villamayor will take charge of the match UE Sant Julia vs FC Santa Coloma, together with Assistant Referees Robert Gonzalez and Laudino Lopez, and Additional Assistant Referees Bruno Parente and Alexis Terrazo. On the other hand, at the Stadium Aixovall, Andre Lagadouro will take charge of the match FC Ordino vs Inter Club Escaldes, together with Assistant Referees Hugo Jourdan and Cristian Sanchez, and Additional Assistant Referees Francisco Osuna and Enzo Millan.

Mr Arena’s appointment forms part of the referee exchange programme over the past couple of years between the Refereeing Department within the Malta Football Association and its counterpart at the Andorra Football Federation.

As a matter of fact, two weeks ago Maltese Premier League officials Trustin Farrugia Cann, Duncan Sultana and Jurgen Spiteri were in charge of the Lliga Nacional Champions’ Group match between UE Sant Julia and FC Lusitans in Andorra; while a week before, Andorran international officials Ignasi Villamayor, Hugo Jourdan and Laudino Lopez were in charge of the GFA Melita Division 1 derby match between S.K. Victoria Wanderers and Victoria Hotspurs at the Gozo Stadium.
