Vittoriosa Stars sign Kenneth Scicluna

Vittoriosa-StarsFormer Malta international defender Kenneth Scicluna will be playing for Vittoriosa Stars in the BOV First Division.

A product of Luqa St. Andrew’s, Scicluna joined St. Patrick, making his Premier League debut in season 1998/99. The following summer, he was transferred to Birkirkara but in December, he joined Qormi on loan. On his return to Birkirkara, he soon established himself in the Stripes’ starting line-up. In summer 2007, he moved to Valletta. In 2011/12, he was loaned to Qormi in the Premier League, spending the last two years on loan with Marsaxlokk and Zebbug Rangers respectively in Division 1.

Scicluna won the championship with Birkirkara twice and once with Valletta.

After appointing Brian Spiteri as their new coach and Robert Cassar as his assistant, the Stars secured the services of Gilbert Martin, Luke Vella Critien, Sheldon Grech and Ryan Mifsud who all signed new contracts and signed Omar Rababah from Zebbug.
