After confirming Alfred Effiong as one of their foreigners, Qormi signed Nigerian striker Frank Temile and Argentine defender Mauricio Matias Mazzetti.

Temile joins Qormi after spending last season with Birkirkara. He made his Premier League debut with Valletta in season 2007/08, Frank Temile was transferred to Dynamo Kyiv in Ukraine. However his Ukrainian experience was rather disappointing as he only played a few matches with the club’s second team, apart from a short loan spell with PFC Olexandria.

Mazzetti, on the other hand, played for San Lorenzo de Cordoba, Talleres, Racing de Córdoba, Trinidad de San Juan and Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza in Argentina before moving abroad where he played for FC Emmen in the Netherlands, Universitario de Sucre in Bolivia, AEK Kouklia in Cyprus and Duhok SC in Iraq.

Qormi, who have appointed Josef Mansueto as their new coach, had earlier signed Zoran Levnajic from Hibernians.
