Steve Borg will be playing for Valletta once again after signing a five-year deal with the club.

Borg had trials with Platinum Stars in South Africa and Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus and had opted to sign for the South African side. However Platinum Stars withdrew their offer just before he was due to travel to sign for the club.

A product of Mosta, he made his Premier League debut in season 2005/06. He was transferred to Valletta in 2009 and since then won three Premier League titles, two FA Trophies and three Super Cups with the Citizens.
